Licking PHC accepts the scriptures as the revealed Will of God and we adopt these Statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine:
1. The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is also the revealed will of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
2. There is only one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All co-equal and co-eternal. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
3. Our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin. (Matthew 1:18, 25)
4. Man was created in God's image. By voluntary transgression he fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31)
5. Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. By way of the cross, Jesus Christ provided both salvation and healing for all mankind. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. (Romans 10:9-10; 1 Peter 2:24)
6. Baptism in water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. (Matthew 28:19)
7. The celebration of the Lord's Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is to remind the church not only of the great price that Jesus paid for redemption but also that we are in covenant relationship with Him and one another. (1 Corinthians 11:24-30)
8. All believers should earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of new birth. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8, 2:38-39)
9. The evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:2, 6)
10. We have total prosperity spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and socially. (3 John 2)
11. We have a blessed hope that Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to Heaven. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
12. Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. (Revelation 20:10-15)
